Loved our economy twin room with jacuzzi. The location was stunning, just a short walk away from Ars Aevi bridge. The atmosphere created was quiet!

As for me, the location was amazing, adjacent to main Sarajevo bus station. It also was close to center. The room was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean, had essentials, like a shower, a hair dryer and bath sheets.

The hotel is adorned with a red carpet that screams luxury. But sadly, all i heard was teenagers screeching and loud noises throughout the night. After requesting a second pillow, i was met with an eye roll-where's the grand customer service? Really thought they'd treat guest's needs like royalty, but apparently not!

The hotel is a bit in a weird location where 4* hotels are concerned but there is plenty of free parking and the walk from train / bus station is a short one - even the shortcut across rail tracks. There are plenty of trams to town a short walk away and those inclined to walk to downtown will not find the walk too long. The hotel itself offers great views, a professional staff, good wifi and nice breakfast.

Ideal convenient hotel with marvellous location close to bus and train stations. A mini bar, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and central heating in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. Very-very nice staff, very quick check in.

Sarajevo vibes 🇧🇦
Had a lekker brekkie with fresh fried eggs, and the staff were just the best-so keen to help! Room was big and comfy. They hooked us up with a packed lunch when we had to dash early for the train. Great service, seriously!
But the bathroom could do with a bit of a fix-up, nothing major just a bit run down.

Indoor smoking is common in Bosnia, so hotel rooms reeking of tobacco may seem a surprise to non-Balkans.
Wifi wanes in and out. Long walks to downtown.

Inconsistent Wi-Fi service in rooms!!! Cold showers can dampen any stay!!! Noise from local street traffic and other guests disrupts sleep even in a supposedly quiet hotel!!!

Decent and cheap for a night if you are passing through. Breakfast was excellent.
Although it is non smoking at the most part, yet the air-conditioning of the building bkends the smoke in to everywhere. It is not too bad at all, but you can tell.

The Grand is situated behind Sarajevo main station. There is a small treacherous footpath at the end of the platform furthest from the station building. But if you've any amount of luggage. Go outside and use a cab. They're all on a meter and it should cost between 3-5 KM ( about £1.50-£2) The hotel is obviously a former communist design. The inside reeks of this. A little dated but nonetheless clean and well appointed rooms. Large beds and air con. The hotel is a little way from old town Sarajevo. We went back to the station and you catch tram number 1 ( cost 1.8 KM) this takes you up to the road the otherside of the old town. Get a town map from the hotel and alight at the Latin Bridge. Love Sarajevo for what it is. Nice old town nice people. Not as wealthy as some cities. But full of recent history.
